Yaritza Pacheco Obituary, Death – On Thursday, May 19, 2022, Daniel Francis Pacheco, Sr. passed away unexpectedly while at his home in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He passed away quietly. He had 68 years under his belt. Daniel Pacheco was the son of Edward Pacheco and Frances (Garafolo) Pacheco. He was born on October 14, 1953. He attended Tenney High School and graduated with the Class of 1971 in Methuen, Massachusetts, where he was born and raised.
He was the older brother of Robert Pacheco, who sadly died away in 2019, and the younger brother of Joyce Dion and Edward Pacheco, with whom he shared a sibling relationship. He worked for the Department of Public Works in Salem, New Hampshire until he retired, and then he moved to the picturesque New Hampshire seacoast to be close to his daughter Tyffany in his final two years of life.
Danny was a wonderful friend as well as a father, grandfather, brother, and uncle to a large number of people. He will always be remembered for his generous nature, his love of sunrises, his jokes, his love of houseplants and the Boston Celtics, his fish tanks, his gardens full of herbs and vegetables, his love of bird watching and feeding the hummingbirds, playing his guitar, and his drawings. He will always be remembered for his He treasured his time spent with his family above all else and had a particularly close relationship with his granddaughter Nevaeh, who will feel a profound loss with his passing. Daniel is survived by his children, Jason Pacheco and his wife Jennifer of Naples, Florida, Tyffany Pacheco of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, his son and best friend Daniel Pacheco, Jr. and his wife Crystal of Salem, New Hampshire, Amanda Pacheco of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Melissa Griffin and her husband Ryan of Salem, New Hampshire, and Matthew Pacheco and his wife Paige of Shirley, Massachusetts; and by his grandchildren, Matthew Pacheco and his wife Paige of Shirley, Massachusetts His grandchildren Gabrielle, Chance, Natani, Aidan, Olivia, Alexandra, Paige, Nevaeh, Kingston, Landon, Callie, Luca, and Camila will mourn their “Papa” more than words can express. In addition, he is survived by his brother Edward Pacheco and his wife Mary, who reside in Williston, South Carolina; his sister Joyce Dion and her husband Phil, who reside in Salem, New Hampshire; and a large number of nieces and nephews. He will be missed.
On Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 10 am to 2 pm, a celebration of life will be held at Castleton, which is located at 58 Enterprise Drive in Windham, New Hampshire, to remember and celebrate our dear Daniel.
