Mockler, age 51, of Superior, Minnesota, and formerly of Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the Essentia Health Care facility in the company of her devoted family. Her parents, John and Emma Becker, gave birth to her on April 29, 1966 in the city of Duluth. On November 8, 1999 Denise married Michael P. Mockler. Denise spent a significant portion of her career at Essentia Health Center. Her grandchildren brought her the greatest delight, along with time spent with her family at Moon Lake. Her family was the light of her life.
Denise was predeceased by both of her parents, as well as both of her brothers, John “Buddy” and Neil. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike; her son, Todd Becker of Superior; her three grandchildren, John, Charles, and Natalee; her sister, Sue (Greg) Privette of Duluth; her brothers, Donald (Helen) of Superior and Doug (Dawn) of Ham Lake, Minnesota; her sisters-in-law, Deb (Joe) Stupak of Superior and Pat Becker of Maple, Wisconsin; and a large number of other relatives and friends
Memorial ceremony will be held on Friday, October 20 at 3 p.m. at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Chapel, which is located at 4100 Grand Avenue and can be reached at (218) 624-5200. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m.
