I do so with the understanding that I have the responsibility of informing the former members of the New South Wales Girls Group as well as the followers of this page that Mrs. Sue Barnes has passed away. I do so with the knowledge that it is my duty to convey the news that Mrs.
Sue Barnes has passed away to the people who were formerly a part of the New South Wales Girls Group as well as the people who follow this page. This information will be communicated to the New South Wales Girls Group at the appropriate time as it is distributed further. Sue had been a member of the Blacktown Girls for close to thirty years, beginning her time there as a Warrant Officer and ultimately rising through the ranks to become the OC of the Squadron. Sue’s tenure with the Blacktown Girls spanned nearly three decades. Sue was a member of the Blacktown Girls for more than three decades during her time there.
During the time that Sue was a part of the Blacktown Girls organization, she served in a number of different capacities within the group. Those who had the honor of knowing Sue will forever look back on her life with a friendly and upbeat temperament when they think about it in retrospect. Sue will be missed tremendously on a daily basis. During this tough time, the family has urged everyone to give them some space and privacy, as they are going through a difficult situation.
