by Ronald Douglas Death, Obituary – At the age of ninety, Ronald Douglas (Bill) Gradwell, who had resided in Amalinda all of his life, died away on January 8th, 2023 in a tranquil and serene manner. He was commonly referred to as “Bill.” His devoted wife Joy, his children Gail and Dave, Dougie and Marianne, Helen and Victor, Andrew and Lulu, Ann and Hansie, as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sister Thora, along with their respective families, will miss him terribly. His passing will also be deeply felt by his sister Thora. When we think back on him, we will have the most profound sense of loss.
On the morning of Thursday, January 12, 2023 at ten in the morning, a Celebration Service honoring his life will be held at the Greenfields Methodist Church on Jan Smuts Avenue in Greenfields, East London. This service will be held in commemoration of his passing. During this awful moment, the Gradwell family has my most sincere condolences and my thoughts are with them. I pray that the Lord gives you the fortitude to persist through this very challenging period that you are going through in your life. I am thinking very highly of each and every one of you and sending a lot of love your way. We want every member of the family to know that we are thinking about and praying for them during this difficult time.
