Richard Sposa Death, Obituary – As soon as we learned that Richard Sposa had passed away, we were immediately hit with a profound sense of sorrow. The information that he had passed away brought us to our knees. We are not going to be able to forget about him ever. The situation was already as it was described above even before the news was brought to our attention.
Rick not only spent a significant amount of time working for the Norwood Emergency Medical Services team, a position that he held for a significant amount of time, but he also spent a significant amount of time working for the police department of the Borough of Norwood, a position that he held for a significant amount of time.
Over the course of his tenure in this position, he provided an appreciable amount of service to the organization. Even after Rick had retired, he continued his involvement in a group that was responsible for the training of service dogs. This group was the Guide Dogs for the Blind and Hearing Dogs of America. The education of service dogs was the responsibility of this particular organization. Rick was an essential gear in the wheel of this particular organization, which made frequent use of our building in order to train the dogs, and our building was used frequently by this group.
During this trying time, the Sposa family as a whole, and especially his son, Norwood EMS Ex-Chief “Little” Rick Sposa, are in our thoughts and prayers. In particular, our thoughts and prayers are focused on his son. Little Rick served as the previous chief of the Norwood Emergency Medical Services. Specifically, we are remembering and praying for his kid at this time because he is so important to him. During this difficult time, his child, in particular, is at the forefront of our minds and prayers.
