by Richard Hallett Death, Obituary – Richard Hallett, who passed away not long ago, managed the bar at this establishment for a good number of years and worked there for a good number of years before he passed away. We are deeply sorry to be the ones to break the news to you that he has passed away, but unfortunately we cannot avoid doing so. Richard’s health had been steadily declining over the past few years, and on January 6th, he passed away peacefully in the hospital with his two beloved sons by his side. Richard’s health had been steadily deteriorating over the past few years. During his last moments, he passed away with his family by his side.
At this point, the vast majority of our clientele are already well-versed in this information and consider it to be common knowledge. Richard started working at The Victoria Hotel in August of 1980, and he will be fondly remembered there for his infectious laugh, his hilarious practical jokes, and his warm and friendly smile. In addition, The Victoria Hotel will be named after Richard. In addition to this, the fact that he worked there will ensure that his name is never forgotten in that establishment. Richard, a member of the Brend family who worked alongside them and was held in extremely high regard by all of the family members, was held to have an exceptionally high opinion by all of the Brend family members.

We will be leaving a condolence book at the hotel at the request of the guests who will be staying there so that they can sign it and write their memories in it. The guests who will be staying at the hotel have requested that we do this. In addition, guests are requested to merely sign their names in the visitor book so that it can be presented to the man’s sons at a later date.
