Ricardo Jefferson Obituary, Death – On January 13, at approximately one o’clock in the afternoon, human remains were discovered in a wrecked automobile. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office was able to determine the identity of the individuals whose bodies were located in the vehicle. The remains of the automobile had been sitting there ever since the collision had taken place. The body of Ricardo Carlos Jefferson, 39, who had been discovered dead, was found inside the vehicle. Jefferson was a resident of Bessemer. This piece of information has been verified for us by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
According to the Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates, the investigation into the car revealed that it was connected to a case of a missing person that had been reported to the Bessemer Police Department in September 2022. This information was provided by the Chief Deputy Coroner after the investigation revealed that the car was connected to the case. After it was determined via the investigation that the car had some sort of connection to the case, the Chief Deputy Coroner shared this information with the public.
It is believed that the vehicle was involved in a collision in which it was the only vehicle involved, in which the vehicle, for reasons that are unknown, veered off the roadway and collided with a tree that was located at the bottom of the ravine. The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown; however, it is believed that the vehicle was involved in a collision in which it was the only vehicle involved. There is no documented information regarding the events leading up to the crash. According to Yates, the official cause of death won’t be determined until until the additional investigation is finished and all of the questions are answered.
