The incident occurred when the pedestrian was walking in the neighborhood. According to the report, a collision involving a pedestrian and a sport utility vehicle took place on Friday at approximately 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Southeast Division Street and 168th Avenue. The location of the collision was at the southeast corner of the junction. The authorities and those trained to provide medical assistance rushed to the scene.
According to statements made by the police on Saturday, the preliminary investigation indicated that Griffith was crossing Southeast Division Street when she was struck and killed by a Chevrolet Suburban that was driving east. The motorist, who has not been recognized at this time, did not move from the spot where they were standing after the crash occurred. Police have made no arrests.
