Paul Dunn Death, Obituary – We sure do miss you a lot. Remembering and Honoring the Life and Service of Motor Officer Paul Dunn (317T) It’s been a torturous three years since we’ve had the pleasure of seeing that grin again. Paul, who was an officer in addition to being a spouse, father, brother, and fantastic friend, had a significant influence on the lives of an exceptionally large number of others. The world appears to have lost part of its glitter since he has been removed from it. On Thursday, January 9, 2020, Officer Paul Dunn passed away suddenly as a consequence of injuries he received while on duty in an automobile accident that took place close to where Lake Miriam Drive and Lakeland Highlands Road connect.
The collision took place near the intersection of these two roads. The occurrence happened in the vicinity of the crossroads. He had just turned 50 years old at the time. Before he started working for our company in 2013, Officer Dunn had already served for a number of years with the Ocoee Police Department and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Over the course of his over two decades-long career in law enforcement, he has held roles with both of those organizations. Everyone had a lot of respect for Officer Dunn, who was a member of our motor unit. He was also quite popular.
In addition to that, Officer Dunn’s background includes time spent serving in the United States Marine Corps. The family of Officer Dunn, as well as all those who knew and loved him, are in your thoughts and prayers at this time. Please continue to keep them in your prayers and thoughts as you move forward. A wreath has been placed at the Fallen Heroes Memorial where it honors Officer Dunn. The wreath may be found at the base of the plaque. We think about how much we miss your amazing sense of humor and the company you provided all the time. Paul, know that we will always keep you in our thoughts and hearts.
