by Mary Joyce Death, Obituary – Mary Joyce (née O’Connor), who had owned Kevin Joyce Fashions at The Square in Headford, County Galway, Ireland, passed away on January 7th, 2023. Kevin Joyce Fashions was located in Ireland. She bravely fought an illness, but in the end, it was too much for her, and she went away peacefully while in the caring care of the doctors at the Our Lady of Knock Oncology Ward at the Galway Clinic. At the time of her passing, she was attended to by her loved ones on both sides.
Her brothers John Joe (Headford), Christy (Knockroone), and Fursey (Ennis), her brothers-in-law Paddy (Headford) and Ger (Headford), as well as her sister-in-law and devoted friend Peggy, all passed away before she did. Her parents Charles and Julia, her devoted husband Kevin, her brothers John Joe (Headford), Christy (Knockroone), and Fursey (Ennis), She was preceded in death by her loving husband Kevin, her loyal parents Charles and Julia, and her brothers John Joe (Headford) and Christy (Kilroe).
Her grief will be felt by her sons Kenneth, Raymond (Dublin), and Elaine (Galway), as well as by Kenneth’s spouse Dervla, her daughter-in-law Bree, and her cherished grandchildren Meabh and Eoghan. Her devoted brothers, Frank and Brendan (Headford), Fr. Charlie (formerly of Kansas, USA), Marty (Gort), as well as her husband’s brothers and sisters, Fr. John (formerly of Nigeria), Sr. Bernadette (formerly of Chile), Brian (Dublin), and Ina, will miss her terribly. Her husband’s family will also miss her terribly (Ellagh).
The body will be at Ryder’s Funeral Home on Monday, January 9th, from 5 pm to 7.30 pm. The funeral home is located at High Street, Headford, H91 R2V6. St. Mary’s Church, which can be found at Headford H91 C9W8, will be the location of the funeral, which will take place on Tuesday, January 10 at 12 pm.
