Kevin Higgins Death, Obituary – Our hearts was filled with a deep sense of loss when I learned, late last night, that poet and activist Kevin Higgins had gone away. He will be missed. Because of the courageous and positive manner in which he had been confronting his own mortality for so many years, we came to think of him as invincible despite the overwhelming body of data saying otherwise. This was as a result of the fact that he had been fighting for so many years. He has been able to laugh in the face of death for some time now, and he has bestowed upon us the strength to do the same thing.
He was without a doubt a thorn in the side of the arrogant and the self-serving, but he was also without a doubt a champion of both poetry and poets. He was a thorn in the side of the arrogant and the self-serving. He was a pain in the behind for people who were conceited and self-centered. He was a generous benefactor to poets all over the world and assisted a great deal of aspiring poets in negotiating the difficulties that are inherently associated with the trade of poetry. Sincere condolences go out to his wife, Susan Millar DuMars, as well as to his children, grandchildren, and a large number of other loved ones and friends from a wide circle of life.
My best wishes go out to you, Kevin, that you are prosperous in all of your endeavors.
