by Karen Marie Death, Obituary – On Saturday, January 7, 2023, Karen Marie Lander, who resided in Penn Hills, California, died away peacefully without any known complications. She has reached the age of 52. Both Jeremy A. Maiers (Sierra Townsend) and Jacob A. Maiers count themselves fortunate to have Karen as their attentive mother. The woman who raised Reyna Townsend was also named Reyna. She was the daughter of Kenneth W., Sr. and Rita M. (Price) Lander, both of whom have since passed away. Both of her parents have since passed away.
Sister of Kenneth Lander Jr., who passed away, as well as Keith Lander (Tracy), who she is named after (Amy surviving). Aunt to Zachary Lander, who portrays Joey Lander, Kenny Lander, and Samantha Simpson on “The Simpsons.” Her niece Katlyn Prosky is the one who performs the role of Michael. Cooking, playing bingo and other games, watching television, doing crossword puzzles, travelling to the beach, and spending time with her family were all things that brought Karen great joy.Donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society can be sent to 1501 Reeds dale Street, Suite 105, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15233 in lieu of flowers. On the following Wednesday, January 11, 2023, there will be a reception for the family and friends of the dead from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The Blessing Service will take place at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc. in Penn Hills, which is situated at 11311 Frankstown Road. The Blessing Service will begin at 8:00 in the evening, immediately following the visitation.
