by John Duckhouse Death, Obituary – At this time, our thoughts and prayers are with you; it is with deep regret that we must notify you of the passing of Dr. John Duckhouse. It is with deep regret that we must inform you of the passing of Dr. John Duckhouse. We must share the sad news with you that Dr. John Duckhouse has passed away, and do so with a heavy heart. It is not easy for us to break the news to you about this newest turn of events, but we are required to do so. Please understand that our hearts are heavy as we do so.
In addition to being a wonderful buddy, he was an accomplished musician, aviator, and sailor in his own right. He had the kindest and most caring nature of any veterinarian I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. In addition to that, he had a significant passion for the sport of sailing. On top of that, he was the kind of person who radiated a great deal of charisma. Recently, he has gone on to a better place. Freeport served as his principal residence throughout the most of the decade that ended in the 1970s, during which he spent the majority of his time there.
Throughout the most of the decade, this was the situation. After leaving Freeport, he eventually made the decision to make Barbados his new permanent home and then moved there after deciding to do so. Those of us who were privileged enough to be able to call him a friend are the only ones who will be able to truly appreciate the enormous hole that his passing produces for those he has left behind. Those of us who were unable to call him a friend will not be able to fully comprehend the gaping hole. Those of us who were successful in doing so are the only ones who will have the capacity to completely understand the enormous void. RIP Dr. John x
