by Joe Fairrie Death, Obituary – Joe Fairrie passed away on March 18, 2012 in the state of Arkansas at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Paragould is located in the state of Arkansas. She was born in Arbyrd, Missouri on November 9, 1923, and she was an employee at the Capitol Theater for more than 30 years. Her birthday is November 9. She participated in the services at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Paragould on a consistent basis and adhered to the Catholic faith with all of her heart.
She derived a great deal of pleasure from competing in ice skating contests, tending to her family and friends, and preparing delicious meals for them all. In addition to that, she was a die-hard supporter of the team and their game. Her parents, W. M. Potts and Ida May Potts, as well as her three brothers, Vernon, Herschel, and Burnette Ford, and her two sisters, Brien and Bernice Grooms, all went away before she did. Her husband, Alfred Hagen, also died before she did. Her parents and three brothers also died before she did. Her siblings were Vernon Ford, Herschel Ford, and Burnette Ford.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Allen Lee Hagen and Laura Hagen, of Paragould; her grandson and his wife, Shawn and Chandra (Cervantes) Hagen and great-grandson August Hagen of Silver Spring, Maryland; a special niece, Lanita Wadley of Paragould and several other nieces and nephews; and two very special friends, Laura Jackson and Elizabeth Schwamb of Paragould. She will be greatly missed by all Everyone will miss her in a significant way, and their grief at her passing will be very profound. On the 21st of March, close friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects to the deceased at the Heath Colonial Chapel in Paragould.
This particular date has been reserved specifically for this objective. This evening, visitation will begin at 6:30 PM and continue all the way through the evening until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be presided over by Deacon Rex Bouldin. On the 18th day of March in 2012, she passed away when she was a patient at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
