Ian Black Obituary, Resident of Lochgelly has passed away – Death

Ian Black Death, Obituary – Ian Black, who resided in Lochgelly, passed away in the 69th year of his life at that location on Monday, January 9, 2023, after a valiant battle with illness that he fought while being accompanied by his loving family at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. This battle took place on the same day that Ian Black passed away. He lived in Lochgelly for the majority of his life. When he became involved in this fight, he had already lived for 69 years at that point. He lived the majority of his life at Lochgelly, which he considered to be his home. Denzil, Ian’s devoted dog, and many other people thought highly of him as a friend, and Ian received a great deal of affection from Denzil.

He was the devoted husband of Janet, who preceded him in death; the doting father of Karen, John, Scott, and Kevin; the much-loved brother of Robert, Evelyn, Annette, and Alan; and a cherished uncle and great uncle. Janet predeceased him. He was remembered as a kind and generous man. Denzil had a lot of love and respect for Ian because he was a wonderful friend to so many people. He
The Salvation Army Hall in Lochgelly, which is located on Auchterderran Road, will be the location of the funeral services that will be held. The memorial ceremonies are scheduled to take place at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24.

Only flowers from immediate family members are asked, however donations of any amount will be gratefully accepted as guests leave the hall. These contributions will be given to the Renal Unit at Victoria Hospital as well as the Salvation Army. Please send flowers solely from the family, and if you so wish, donations can be sent to the Salvation Army or the Renal Unit at Victoria Hospital. After the funeral, at 2:00 p.m., the body will be interred at Lochgelly Cemetery, where all family and friends are cordially invited to pay their respects.
