by Grace Nee Tomlinson Death, Obituary – Grace (née Tomlinson), who had spent her entire life in Altofts, passed away quietly in the hospital on the first of January, 2023, when she was 87 years old. Grace had spent her entire life in Altofts. She was the devoted and much-loved mother of Ian and Tracy, the very special mother-in-law of Angela and Paul, the doting grandmother of Bethany, Joseph, Ellie, and Kelsey, and the cherished great-grandmother of Freddie and Lexi. She also leaves behind a number of adoring great-grandchildren: Freddie, Lexi, and Freddie Jr. The 15th of January 2019 was the day she went away.
She was a wonderful friend to a significant number of people in addition to being a lovable aunt. On Monday, the 23rd of January, at 11:15 in the morning, there will be a funeral service held at St. Luke’s Church in Sharlston. After the service, the funeral procession will make its way to the Altofts Cemetery for the interment. After that, the family will invite everybody who was present to share some refreshments with them at The Robin Hood Pub in Altofts. Request that the flower delivery be limited to only those who are considered to be direct relatives.
