Glynda Thompson Death, Obituary –  It is with a sorrowful heart that we have to break the news to you that Mr. Fred William Nix, who lived in the 4100 Block of Berkshire, passed away on January 11, 2023. It is with a heavy heart that we have to break the news to you that Mr. Fred William Nix lived in the 4100 Block of Berkshire. During this trying time, know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. He had 92 years of experience under his belt. This information is being shared with you despite the fact that we feel nothing but the greatest amount of regret on our end. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

We are breaking the news to you with a heavy heart and a great deal of pain that he has passed away. We are sorry for the inconvenience that this causes. Please accept our condolences. (It is my deepest wish and prayer that the soul of Fred William Nix will be at peace and find rest in the Lord.) The majority of Fred’s boyhood was spent in the Brookhaven area, which is not only the spot where he was born and reared but also the location of the home he inhabited as a small kid at that time.

When we have to come to terms with the death of an elderly person who used to live in our region and was a member of the senior population there, it is a very difficult situation for us to be in. It is very difficult for us to be in a circumstance in which we have to deal with the passing of an elderly person who was a member of the senior It is a very challenging experience for all of us here at the senior center to have to deal with the passing of a senior citizen when we have to do so.

We would like Fred’s grandson Sean Nix and the rest of Fred’s family to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers as they go through this difficult time. We are saddened to hear about the passing of Fred’s grandson. In addition, we would like to assure them that they are continually present in our minds and that this is something we would like to communicate to them.
