by George Ferguson Obituary, Death – The news of the demise of George Ferguson, who was not only one of our closest friends but also a coworker at Rbq Rockaway Beach in New York, is something that we have to disclose with a heavy heart but are required to do so. We will always remember George as a kind and generous man. George was there with us through each and every step of the process when we opened RBQ in 2018, which was the very first year we had ever done so. At RBQ, George has been a consistent presence between the pipes, and the bar will feel a significant void without him there.
Even now, several years after George’s passing, I find it difficult to wrap my head around the fact that he is no longer among us. He will be sorely missed, but there will forever be a spot in each of our hearts that is reserved only for him and no one else. During this difficult time, George, his wife Nancy Re, and the rest of George’s family are very much in our thoughts and prayers. We are thinking about and praying for all of them often. Our love and best wishes go out to them as well. Remembering George in your prayers and keeping him in your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
