Erwin Hillares Death, Obituary – This morning, we lost Erwin Hillares, who was not only a member of our group but also a member of our larger family. We have to break the news to you about his passing, and we do so with a tremendous deal of sadness and a heavy feeling in our hearts. After being involved in a crash, Erwin “win win” Hillares was taken away from this world without any sort of proper sendoff. We will all miss him beyond anything that can be said to adequately explain how much we feel about it. During this trying time, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
After graduating from Simpson College, he moved on to seek a career as an athlete on a professional level in Europe. He did this after spending four years at Simpson. In the year 1956, he completed his education at Simpson College, an institution of higher learning that he had attended in the past, and received a degree in Business Administration from the aforementioned educational establishment. After that, he had a prosperous professional life. On September 24, 1956, he reported for duty as a soldier in the United States Army, and he served in that capacity until 1962, when he was eventually dismissed from active duty with an honorable letter.
He did not receive any disciplinary action for his actions throughout his time in the military. On a high note, he was able to honorably resign from his position as a soldier in the United States Army. He enlisted in the military on September 24, 1956, and has been serving ever since. Erwin has been employed at Iowa WorkForce Development for the past 38 years, and during that time he has held a number of different positions within the organization. He has arrived at the conclusion that the best course of action is for him to leave the organization in order to pursue a career as the director of Administrative Services.
