Erik Menyhart Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, December 3, 2008, Frank Menyhart, who had resided in Haledon and had reached the age of 73 years, passed away. On June 22, 1935, Mr. Menyhart was born in the town of Mosonmgyarovar, which is located in Hungary. He was named after his deceased parents, John Menyhart and Elizabeth Menyhart. Sadly, both of his parents unfortunately passed away. After arriving in the United States in 1956, he first established his residence in Passaic, New Jersey; but, in 1976, he moved to Haledon to make it his permanent home. In addition to his position as a Drywaller at the company, he held a membership in the Drywall, Tapers and Finishers Union no.
1976. In addition to being a member of the Hungarian American Club, Mr. Meryhart was also involved in the community by contributing to the St. Stephen’s R.C. Magyar Church in Passaic, New Jersey. There is one son, Frank Michael Menyhart of Haledon, New Jersey, and one daughter, Kathy Ann Menyhart of Haledon, New Jersey, who survive him. He is also survived by his wife, Marianna (Janitz) Menyhart. Both Frank Michael Menyhart and Kathy Ann Menyhart call Haledon, New Jersey, home at the present time. In addition, he is survived by a cousin who lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and whose name is Vera Leiss. She is one of the people who he leaves behind.
Visitation will take place on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the DeLuccia – Lozito Funeral Home, which can be found in Haledon, New Jersey, at 265 Belmont Avenue.
