Duane J. Warren, Marshfield, WI, Obituary (2022)

On December 3, 2022, in Marshfield’s House of the Dove, Duane J. Warren, 66, died away in the presence of his loved ones.

The Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield will have a celebration of life on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Lawrence and Isabelle (Sturz) Warren welcomed Duane into the world on March 24, 1956 in Marshfield. He completed senior high school in Marshfield. In Marshfield, Massachusetts, he married Renee Pacourek on June 14, 1975. They separated later.

Duane loved fishing, boating, playing guitar, being a DJ for Tune Time Entertainment, camping, hanging out with friends around the campfire, playing games with his grandchildren, and being with family. He was super handy and could fix anything. In his younger years he played the accordion and roller-skated. He also enjoyed old cars and took great pride in his 1965 Ford Galaxy.
He is survived by his children, Shawn (Brian) Darling of Strum, Ken (Amy) Warren of Marshfield, and Carla (Jason) Schill of Stratford, and grandchildren, Alex Darling, Isabelle Schill, Kaeden Schill, Cierra Warren, and Kendra Warren. He is further survived by his significant other, Wanda Axtman, sisters, Fay Becker of Marshfield, Barb (Don) Gleisner of Marshfield, Sharon (Bob) Heidger of Waupaca, and brother, Larry (Sally) Warren of Marshfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials can be made in Duane’s name to House of the Dove in Marshfield.
