Dean Linda Wood Death, Obituary – On January 5th, 2019, Dean Linda Wood, who was a much-loved part of the Broward College family, passed away. It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you of this news. I am sorry that I have to be the one to tell you this bad news. Despite the discomfort that it causes in my chest, I have no choice but to tell you the news. On Friday, January 13, from three to four o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a Celebration of Life held on campus; in addition, it will be aired live online via Zoom: She was a member of the Blissfield Baptist Church, which she went regularly for services, and she was a devoted follower of the religion’s teachings.
Linda is survived by her children, Nelson III (Sandy Ferris) Dean of Casselbury, Florida, Daniel Dean of Milan, Melinda (Scott) Schudel of Adrian, and Melissa (Scott) Lee of Brighton; her brother, Thomas (Linda) Hagerty of Columbia, Tennessee; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition, Linda is survived by her brother’s wife, Linda. In addition, Linda is survived by her sister-in-law, who was married to her brother. In addition to this, Nelson, Linda’s husband, will carry on after she has passed away.
