by Davie Walker Death, Obituary – After learning of Davie Walker’s passing, the club is in a state of profound disbelief. Walker was a past president and served the organization for a very long time in the role of treasurer. David was a devoted bowler who, in his day, was able to play the game at a level that was considered to be fairly proficient. He was a very important figure in the club and served on the committee for a long period of time, devoting a significant amount of time and energy to the cause. We are going to miss him being in this room with us all the time and it is going to be very difficult. David Stewart Walker, who had once called Ravenswood, Forth, home, left in a manner that was rather unexpected despite the fact that he was getting close to the age of 90.
The three children, Linda, Janice, and David, have an incredible amount of affection and admiration for their father. After a service that will also take place at 11 am on the same day in Forth Parish Church, the funeral will begin in Carnwath Cemetery at 11 am on Thursday, January 26, 2023. The service will be held on the same day. Flowers will only be received from immediate family members, but donations to Chest, Heart, and Stroke Scotland would be highly appreciated in lieu of floral tributes.
