David Hutton Obituary, Death – David, our dearly loved husband, father, and papa, went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2022 at his home. It is with aching hearts that we announce his loss and share the news with you all. David will be greatly missed. Beloved husband of Barbara Hutton for the past 58 years (Priddle). On December 18th, 1937, David was brought into this world at Fort Erie.
He was a devoted and doting parent to his four children: Michael (Donna), Karen Ferguson (Tom), Kathleen Harris (Bryant), and Brian Hutton (Rochelle). In addition, he was a dedicated and proud grandfather of Sean, Liam, Valerie, Nolan, and Lauren (Gavin), Katelyn (Peter), and Lauren (Gavin). His sister Sandra McDermott and his sister-in-law Carol Hutton will carry on his legacy after his passing. His passing will be felt profoundly by his many nieces and nephews. David’s parents, David and Mae Hutton, as well as his brother Dennis, all passed away before him. After receiving his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo, he began his career as an educator at the Fort Erie Secondary School. David took his retirement after 32 years of teaching mathematics at Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School, where he was the department head.
I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Scher and the nurses at St. Elizabeth home health care for the excellent care and compassion they provided. On Friday, September 9, 2022, visitation will be conducted at Benner Funeral Services, located at 1105 Benner Ave. in Fort Erie, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. On Saturday, September 10, 2022, at eleven in the morning, a Funeral Service will be place at Faith Reformed Church, which is located at 3605 Black Creek Rd in Stevensville. The burial will take place at the Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery after the service.
