Daniel Murphy Obituary, Easton Massachusetts – Death, Daniel Murphy has died

Daniel Murphy Obituary, Death – Daniel C. Murphy, age 70, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 16, 2022 in Fridley, Minnesota due to a heart attack. He was from Casa Grande, Arizona. On December 9, 1952, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dan and his brother were born as fraternal twins. His academic achievements include a bachelor’s degree in science as well as a registered nurse degree. The first ten years of Dan’s professional life were spent working in a variety of hospitals located in each of the twin towns. His remaining time in the workforce was spent working as a nurse case manager for the QRC.

The wedding took place on January 27, 2010, and the bride’s full name is Beverly (Perry) (Marrin) Murphy. Together, they had a lot of fun playing golf and going on trips, as well as hanging out with their friends and watching movies. Dan has three children: Brian, Erin, and Katie, all of whom are the product of his marriage to Mary Sykora. Throughout the years, Dan’s favorite activities included deer hunting, fishing, going to the Boundary Waters, and watching sports (until his “Stenze” knees gave out on him). Dan had a strong interest in history, particularly World War II.

He had a terrific sense of humor and was always making people laugh and telling jokes. One of his all-time favorite things to do was to get together with members of his family and circle of friends for a round of golf. Although Dan was not extremely tech savvy, he was the equivalent of Google Maps long before the company was founded. Over the past eight years, he has discovered that being a grandfather to his five lovely grandkids brings him a tremendous deal of joy.

Dan is survived by his wife Beverly, his son Brian (Jo) Murphy, his daughters Erin (Luke) Berg and Katie (Joshua) Baker, his five grandchildren, Ava, Benjamin, and Ciara Berg, and Micah and Hadassah Baker, his parents Tom and Elaine Murphy, his brothers Michael and David Murphy, his sister Mary McDonald, and a large number of nieces and nephews. Brian (Jo) Murphy, Erin (Luke) Berg, and Katie.

Donations to the or any other organization of the donor’s choosing can be made in lieu of flowers. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on the day of the memorial service for Dan, which will be place on Monday, December 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, which is located at 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd NW in Coon Rapids.
