Austin Freeman Obituary, Death – At the age of 20, Austin Scott Freeman passed away at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City on Friday, August 13, 2021. The 15th of December, 2000 found Brandon and Crystal (Morgan) Freeman welcoming their son Austin into the world in Rapid City. He came into this world six weeks prematurely to give his parents the fright of their lives. He felt it was his duty. He has been a fighter ever since the day he was born.
He refused to let the fact that he had impairments prevent him from achieving his goals. Austin’s goal was to put in a lot of effort and become just like everyone else. Nothing could stop him from pursuing the goal he had set for himself. He spent his childhood in the Rapid City region and received his high school diploma from Central in 2019. Austin’s interests were eating, playing video games on his PlayStation, gaining knowledge about automobiles, socializing with his uncles, and watching football, particularly games involving the Denver Broncos. Over the course of the previous two seasons, he was a member of the Rapid City Reapers football team.
Memory of Austin will be treasured by his parents, Brandon and Crystal; sister, Tori; brothers, Gavin and Brysan; maternal grandparents, Ray and Karen (Johnson) Morgan; paternal grandparents; Carey and Pam (Coyle) Jacox and Bryan and Jan (Vogel) Freeman; great grandmothers, Vera Morgan and Marcy Palmer; uncles, Dustin Morgan, Casey Morgan (aunty Kristina Bell), and Jeremy (Heidi)
