by Arlo Jahner Obituary, Death – Arlo Jahner, a significant member of our staff, passed away this past weekend, bringing an abrupt end to a trying year for Sturgis Photo & Gifts. His loss came as a surprise at the end of what had been a challenging year. We are telling you the news of his passing with the utmost sadness that our hearts can hold. Bob and Arlo built a strong connection as well as a true relationship over the course of the more than 17 years that they spent working together on a variety of projects side by side.
It is very difficult to deal with the deaths of the two primary “characters,” or, as one person put it, the two “grumpy old men,” who were responsible for a significant amount of the shenanigans, inventiveness, and antics that took place at this location. Both of these individuals passed away recently. Arlo was a specialist in the workshop portion of the store, where he constructed various items, including picture frames, among other things. However, the things that will be most remembered about him are the enthusiasm and enthusiasm that he brought to everything that he did. These are the things that will be most remembered. During this trying time, we would like to offer our most sincere condolences to Arlo’s family and friends.
