Anne worked as a teacher at what is now known as Brakenhale but was formerly known as Borough Green School while she was employed there. Brakenhale was formerly known as Borough Green School. She was a member of the Bracknell female hockey squad in addition to her work at the school, where she also played for the Bracknell women’s hockey team. In addition to that, she played ice hockey for the school’s varsity squad.
Everyone who knew Anne or remembers her from their time together at school or other places in the Bracknell area is invited to attend the celebration of her life that will take place during the time that has been set aside for the burial of Anne. I have included a link to a giving page below for anyone who might be moved to make a donation in memory of Anne to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution or the Battersea dogs and cats shelter. Please consider making a contribution if you feel so moved. To the extent that you are moved to do so, we humbly request that you give some thought to making a contribution. These are two organizations that have a very particular place in Anne’s heart, and she has been a supporter of both of them for a very long time by giving her time as a volunteer and making her resources accessible to them. Both of these organizations hold a very special place in Anne’s heart.
